Low Value/Black and White

My fondness for black/white designs started with practicality: I had to find a way to come up with decent looking posters and invitations despite the lack of POWERFUL but CHEAP printers capable of spitting the most vivid colors. What we have here are laser(?) printers capable of printing only black, dark black on A3 paper (maximum!).

The last time I checked (last month?), I realized that 2009 was a year of black/white designs. I might have enjoyed the lack of color.

The Challenge: Work with photos which were not taken for the poster (not taken with a purpose in mind, actually, except for the most photogenic contest). So a great amount of time was consumed figuring out how the photos should be placed.:)

Love/hate. Unsure about this one.

I wanted to make the poster look like it has dry, flaking blood. The blood splatter and stick figures were done using molten crayons (red and black).
The actual poster looks way better but I do not have a camera so I haven't been taking photos of posters on the bulletin boards! And yes, I don't have a single hard copy of any of my work! :(
